Christy Aigbudumhe Oboh (Nee Aidelebe), Esq.

Christy Aigbudumhe Oboh, Esq., is a distinguished Nigerian legal practitioner, human rights advocate, and humanitarian. A graduate of Law from the University of Abuja, she holds an LL.B, B.L, and LL.M, and was called to the Nigerian Bar after completing her training at the Nigerian Law School.

Christy is deeply committed to promoting access to justice, particularly for the underprivileged and marginalized members of society. She strongly believes that the right to fair hearing must be available to all, including the “have-nots.” Her legal philosophy is built on integrity, excellence, accountability, and an unwavering pursuit of justice and equity.

She is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Gwagwalada Branch, FCT–Abuja, where she has served in several leadership capacities. Her roles have included Financial Secretary of the NBA Young Lawyers Forum, Immediate Past Welfare Secretary of the NBA Gwagwalada Branch, Facilitator of the NBA Women Forum (Gwagwalada Branch), and Past Assistant Secretary of FIDA Nigeria (International Federation of Women Lawyers). Through these positions, she has consistently championed professional development, inclusion, and welfare within the legal community.

Driven by her passion for humanitarian service, Christy is the Founder of the Handel Pro-bono Link and Empowerment Foundation, an initiative dedicated to providing pro-bono legal services and entrepreneurial skills training to young Nigerians. The foundation focuses on discouraging idleness, reducing social vices, and empowering youth toward self-reliance and sustainable development.

She currently serves as the Principal Partner at De-Notch Legal Consult, Abuja, where she leads with professionalism, integrity, and a strong commitment to client-centered advocacy and human rights protection.

Born into the family of Late Emmanuel Ogie and Mrs. Helena Aidelebe, she is the fifth of nine children. She is happily married to Mr. Michael Oboh, and the marriage is blessed with children.
